A. Background/History

As part of a project that spans nearly 27 years, Mel Moench has amassed considerable experience in direct current applications. He has designed and built a home that is designed to provide all food and power for a family of four people. This effort includes electricity generation, control, and efficient use. Most of the systems are automotive-style or 12 volts, but extensive research and files are kept on many other voltages and applications.
